About Pane Browser
Pane Browser is a full-screen, chrome-less iPhone web browser. There is no top bar and no bottom bar — the whole screen is the page. Navigation is one floating button on the side of the screen that opens a radial menu with Back, Home, More, and two configurable slots.
The app stores nothing about you on a server. Bookmarks, history, tabs, and shelf items live only on your iPhone. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Frequently asked questions
How do I open the menu?
Tap the small floating button on the right edge of the screen. A radial menu fans out around it with Back, Home, More, and two slots you can configure.
The floating button is in my way. Can I move it?
Yes — drag it to either the left or the right edge. The button remembers its position. To dismiss it temporarily for the current screen, long-press the button for three seconds; it reappears automatically when you switch tabs, refresh, or reopen the app.
How do I add a site to my shelf?
Two ways: 1) From the home screen, tap the empty slot with the + icon to add a URL directly. 2) After visiting a site, open the menu, tap More, then Bookmark — bookmarked sites appear in the shelf-add list.
How do I change my search engine?
Open the menu → More → Settings → Search engine. You can pick Bing, Google, or DuckDuckGo. The engine you choose is the one used when you type a query into the address bar.
How do I customize the radial menu slots?
The first three slots (Back, Home, More) are fixed. Slots 4 and 5 are configurable in Settings → Floating menu. Pick from Bookmarks, Tabs, History, Enter URL, Go Home, Reload, Share, or Forward.
How do I clear my browsing history or cache?
Open Settings → Privacy. Clear browsing history wipes the URLs and titles you've visited. Clear cache and cookies clears the WebKit-managed storage. Both actions are immediate and not undoable.
Will my data sync between devices?
No. Pane Browser stores everything locally on the device. There is no account system and no cloud sync. If you delete the app, all of its data is removed.
A website doesn't work correctly. What should I do?
Pane Browser uses Apple's WKWebView engine, the same technology that powers Safari. Sites that work in Safari should work in Pane Browser. If a site behaves differently, please email us with the URL and a short description of what's wrong.
Can I use Pane Browser on iPad?
Pane Browser is designed for iPhone. It runs on iPad in compatibility mode, but the full-screen layout is tuned for one-handed phone use. A native iPad layout is on the roadmap.
How do I replay the introduction tutorial?
Open Settings → About → Replay tutorial. The three-card walkthrough shown on first launch will play again.

关于一屏浏览器
一屏浏览器是一款全屏、无浏览器栏的 iPhone 浏览器。没有顶栏也没有底栏，整个屏幕就是网页。所有交互都集中在屏幕一侧的一颗悬浮按钮上：点开它会弹出一个弧形菜单，包含返回、首页、更多以及两个可自定义的槽位。
应用不在服务器上保存关于你的任何信息。书签、历史、标签页、书架都只存在你的手机上。详情见 隐私政策。
常见问题
怎么打开菜单?
轻点屏幕右侧（或左侧）的小悬浮按钮，弧形菜单会从按钮周围展开，里面有"返回 / 首页 / 更多"以及两个你自己配置的槽位。
悬浮按钮挡住内容，能挪走吗?
能。把按钮拖到屏幕的另一侧，应用会记住你选的位置。如果想临时让按钮在当前页面消失，长按按钮三秒；切换标签页、刷新、重新进入应用时会自动重显。
怎么把网站加到书架?
两种方式：1) 在首页轻点带 + 图标的空槽位，直接输入网址添加。2) 浏览过某个网站后，打开菜单 → 更多 → 书签，把它标星，已收藏的网站会出现在书架的添加列表里。
怎么换搜索引擎?
打开菜单 → 更多 → 设置 → 搜索引擎，可在 Bing / Google / DuckDuckGo 中选择。在地址栏输入搜索词时使用的就是你这里设定的引擎。
能自定义弧形菜单的槽位吗?
前三个槽位（返回 / 首页 / 更多）是固定的；第 4、5 槽位可以在 设置 → 悬浮菜单 中配置，可选项包括书签、标签页、历史记录、输入网址、回到首页、刷新、分享、前进。
怎么清除浏览历史或缓存?
打开 设置 → 隐私。清除历史记录会删除你访问过的网址和标题；清除缓存和 Cookie 会清空 WebKit 系统保管的存储。两个操作都立即生效，无法撤销。
数据会在多设备间同步吗?
不会。一屏浏览器所有数据只存在本机。应用没有账号系统，也不做云端同步。卸载应用会一并删除所有本地数据。
某个网站显示不正常怎么办?
一屏浏览器底层用的是苹果的 WKWebView 引擎，和 Safari 同源。Safari 上能用的网站这里也应该能用。如果你发现某个网站表现不同，欢迎邮件告诉我们网址和具体表现。
iPad 能用吗?
一屏浏览器是为 iPhone 设计的。iPad 上以兼容模式运行，但全屏的布局是为单手手机操作调过的。原生 iPad 布局在路线图里。
怎么再看一遍入门教程?
打开 设置 → 关于 → 再看一次教程，第一次启动时看到的三张引导卡片会重新播放。
