Installing on Android

1. 1

   Open the link on your Android phone

   Use Chrome, Samsung Internet, or any browser. Pane itself can't install APKs yet — use a system browser for the first install.

   Allow installs from this source

   Android will prompt you the first time. Open Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps → toggle on for the browser you used.

3. 3

   Tap the downloaded APK and install

   Pane appears in your app drawer. Open it and follow the onboarding. Updates ship as new APKs on this page — uninstall is not required.

Good to know

• Pane stores history, bookmarks, and the gestures you teach it locally on your device. Nothing about your browsing is uploaded to OpenServe. Read the privacy policy.
• iOS users — Pane is in TestFlight beta. Public listing is pending App Store review. Email [email protected] to join the test flight.
